Bose-Einstein correlations and thermal cluster formation in high-energy collisions
The blast wave model is generalized to include the production of thermal
clusters, as suggested by the apparent success of the statistical model of
particle production at high energies. The formulae for the HBT correlation

Finite size of hadrons and Bose-Einstein correlations in collisions at 7 TeV
Space-time correlations between produced particles, induced by the composite
nature of hadrons, imply specific changes in the properties of the correlation
functions for identical particles. The expected magnitude of these effects is
evaluated using the recently published blast-wave model analysis of the data

Blast-wave model description of the Hanbury-Brown--Twiss radii in pp collisions at LHC energies
The blast wave model is applied to the recent data on HBT radii in pp
collisions, measured by the ALICE collaboration. A reasonable description of
data is obtained for a rather low temperature of the kinetic freeze-out, T ~
100 MeV, and the transverse profile corresponding to the emission from a shell
of a fairly small width 2 d ~ 1.5 fm. The size and the life-time of the
produced system are determined for various multiplicities of the produced

Shared Spaces in Cities of Poland
The aim of paper is a presentation an idea of shared space in the cities and results of implementation of this solution in the cities of Poland. The methodology of elaboration consisted of carrying out a review of the literature, comparing existing solutions and formulating conclusions regarding implementation. This trend, which has appeared over the past 50 years as a counterbalance to the pedestrianization of public spaces, is at the beginning of the 21st century experiencing its second youth and is being implemented in many areas in intensive urban development, especially in urban centers and areas of historic character. Shared space solutions are an integral way of shaping functions and forms of revitalized public spaces. These solutions contributes to improving the quality of public space and traffic safety, revitalizing social life, improving and reducing the environmental nuisance caused by traffic and finally created liveable city. Analyzes effectuated indicate, that in central areas of cities in Poland whose spatial arrangement is legally protected, the forms of shared spaces solutions are strongly influenced by strong conservation restrictions in these areas. This means the need to respect existing historical conditions in shaping public spaces, as well as limited transformation possibilities. The Polish solutions of shared spaces presented in this paper of in their forms and quality do not differ from the standard functional solutions abroad. Solutions implemented in the Polish conditions, however, are more modest in terms of materials and implemented in a smaller number than is the case in Western European countries.

Quark model predictions for thee photoproduction of resonances
The quark model predictions for the decay distributions of resonances photoproduced in the reactions and are given. The numbers of relations predicted for the three reactions are: three, three and sixty respectively
Finite size of hadrons and Bose-Einstein correlations
It is observed that the finite size of hadrons produced in high energy collisions implies that their positions are correlated, since the probability to find two hadrons on top of each other is highly reduced. It is then shown that this effect can naturally explain the values of the correlation function below one, observed at LEP and LHC for pairs of identical pions
An Evolution Process For Service-Oriented Systems
Evolution of service-oriented systems is quite a new research area, which becomesmore and more important as engineering challenges move from enablingservice-orientation onto the maintenance and evolution of already developedservice-oriented systems. However, the development of suitable evolution processesand methodologies is still an open research problem. The evolution processpresented in this paper has been designed to address the evolution of serviceorientedsystems, which are technically built out of a set of service compositions.The presented process comprises phases and tasks compliant with ISO 20000.The underlying model of service-oriented system consisting of business processesand corresponding service composition models has also been presented. A traceabilitymodel and tools supporting change impact analysis have also beenprovisioned for. Preliminary industrial validation indicates that the evolutionprocess should be easy to adapt by the industry

Asymmetric fireballs in symmetric collisions
This contribution reports on the results obtained in the two recently published papers [A. Bialas, A. Bzdak, K. Zalewski, Phys. Lett. B710, 332 (2012), A. Bialas, K. Zalewski, Acta Phys. Pol. B 43, 1357 (2012)] demonstrating that data of the STAR Collaboration show a substantial asymmetric component in the rapidity distribution of the system created in central Au–Au collisions, implying that boost invariance is violated on the event-by-event basis even at the mid c.m. rapidity

A method of estimating the physical bounds for the linear combinations of components of statistical tensors is presented. Numerical values of the hounds for tensor combinations appearing in the additive quark model predictions for resonance production in two-body processes are calculated
